Adolfo Matos Puerto Rican member of the FALN (a Stalinist terrorist group which fought to transform Puerto Rico into a communist state during the 1970s) who received a sentence of 70 years for seditious conspiracy and other charges.〔(Prison Activist Resource Center. ''Adolfo Matos.'' Oakland, Calif. )〕 He was sentenced on February 18, 1981, and incarcerated in a U.S. federal prison.
